Luckily the snow stayed in the mountains! Because Kalea was a mere 2 weeks old, Justin and I waited until Sunday afternoon to drive up to the cabin, while everyone else got there on Saturday, and we all stayed until late Monday night. Lucky for us, the weather cleared up on Monday and it actually turned out to be a pretty nice day. Kalea thought it was still kind of cold, so she wore her adorable beanie most of the time, but she looks so cute in it!
Kalea loves her daddy so much and Justin is so good with her. Here he is carrying a bundled up Kalea in the backpack we got for her so she can be with us all the time and go on some crazy adventures.
I love her so much! Her beanie is a little big, but she'll grow into it. For now she just looks like a cute thug!
Two weeks old and already four-wheeling. I'm not a bad mom, she was all bundled up and we went really slow and just along the beach. She must have enjoyed it because she fell asleep!
But that didn't stop the most dedicated of boaters and wakeboarders. I love that my dad had on thick hip waders and heavy flannel shirts but was teasing Justin about complaining about how cold the water was. Cold water doesn't stop the little kids from having a good time, though!
My dad took the kids out for a ride on "the big boat", and every single one of them got to drive. Zach especially loved it!
And so did Kaden. This kid is so adorable!
Everyone was outside enjoying the warmer weather. I should have gotten a picture of all the trailers and tents surrounding the cabin.
Keaton was crazy enough to do it too!
And Drew, clearing the wake on the first time after several years of being unable to wakeboard. Colby had a "GoPro" video camera that they attached to the wakeboard and spent hours afterward watching the video feed.
There were some good falls as well...
And eventually Justin joined in on the fun!
Early Father's Day gift that my dad picked out for himself, two kayaks! Riding in them made me miss our kayak in Hawaii so much, but they will be fun to use!
Of course, there was a fire with roasted hot dogs and smores!
And the sun sets on another wonderful Memorial weekend reunion. It was so much fun catching up with family and spending time on the lake. Makes me realize how awesome my family is and how much fun they are to be around!
Looks like fun!! Kalea is a lucky girl to have such outgoing parents. I bet she is going to have some amazing adventures in her life. You look so happy!
